graphics plug-ins from Visual Basic. Plug-ins may perform visual
effects, write images to disk or read images from disk. e.g., You

image saved as a BitJazz file (a loss less compression format).
Achroma is compatible with plug-ins written for Adobe Photoshop,
JASC PaintShop Pro, Corel PhotoPaint, Macromedia Fireworks,
Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 and many other graphics applications.
There are a wide variety of plug-in manufacturers producing an
extremely wide range of excellent software at a varied range of
prices. Most plug-in creators provide demonstration copies of
their software for evaluation purposes and many provide free
plug-ins as well as more commercially oriented ones. Achroma is an
ActiveX control. This means you can use it from Visual Basic or
any scripting language that supports the Microsoft ActiveX
