NewMailExt replaces the "You
have a new mail" dialog box that the Lotus Notes Workstation
arises when a new mail arrives. The native Lotus Notes
notification box suffers the following disadvantages: It may take
up to one minute to appear after new mail has arrived. Sometimes
the notification doesn't work. The notification box doesn't give
enough information... it doesn't tell you who sent the mail
neither the subject. NewMailExt has the following features: It
appears within 10 seconds after new mail has arrived. It works.
The notification box gives the subject, who sent the mail, and
optionally the text part of the body. You can delete the mail from
the notification box if you desire. You can reply to new mail
displayed in the notification box without using the Lotus Notes
workstation. You can compose new mail. When the notification box
appears it doesn't get the focus so you can continue typing; 28674
